Day after the climb. Just relaxing in Berchestgaden
So i spent the day recovering from the climb. I was so sore i could barely walk. So i spent the day making observations and messing around. Also checked out the Bavarian Countryside.
This is a great example of the beautiful countryside at Berchestgaden.
This was the second hotel i stayed at in Berchestgaden. I was really nice and clean but smelled a bit weird.
Me trying to figure out which one is the mens bathroom. I picked the one on the right and guessed right.
Looking out from the patio of my hotel.
My hotel again.
This was the train station where you get off. It's a very tiny town.
Looking up at the eagles nest.
Like i said before. Everybody has beautiful pics and/or there names on the front of there homes.
Canadians are much bigger than Europeans.
Day 12 of my video blog.

This is not uncommon at all. Most people still dress like this.

Climb the Eagles Nest. Day 11
So today was the day. The day i climb the eagles nest. I have to admit it was a bit intimidating and i wondered if i was properly prepared but everything worked out. I did have some scary moments though.
I love this picture. this is at the base of the mtn. This is the first bridge.
1 km up. haha.
There it is. I was at the base of the mountain. Great shot of it.
Starting to get cold. BRRRRRRR!!!
Looking down at Berchestgaden.
These tunnels were really spooky going into them. About halfway there were doors for storage i guess and it was pitch black in there.
A little avalanche when i was walking up. Kinda scary.
Air was getting thinner and harder to breath.
This is the top. The main tunnel up the elevator is just to the right. I had to pay a guy 50 euros to let me up cause it was closed. But he wouldn't let me take pics or go into all the rooms which sucked. I'll be back
This is the main entrance.
It was even colder on the way down and my calves were KILLING ME.
There's that pic of the bridge that i took.
Day 11 the day after the climb. Man i was sore. SO so SO sore.
